Therefore, we not only supply foam materials but also establish a comprehensive “Testing and Innovation System”—from the origin of R&D to the final stage of quality assurance—ensuring that every batch of products is safe, stable, traceable, and equipped with forward-looking material development capabilities.
We have a dedicated R&D team with expertise in material design, functional formulation development, and application transformation. Equipped with prototyping and processing facilities, we can efficiently assist customers in turning their ideas into tangible samples.
R&D Focus Areas：
- Diverse foam material designs (EVA, TPE, PE, FPC, etc.)
- Functional upgrades: performance tuning for heat resistance, anti-slip, antibacterial, breathability, shock absorption, and more
- Multi-process integration: embossing, printing, laser engraving, lamination, die-cutting
- Customizable properties: cell density, elasticity, hardness, thickness, etc.
- Collaborative development and rapid prototyping support to shorten product launch timelines
- Continuous investment in eco-friendly materials and circular material applications

Shing Yau has established a comprehensive quality management system, supported by in-house laboratory equipment and internal quality control procedures. From raw material intake to finished product delivery, all processes are carried out under standardized inspection and documentation protocols.
Quality Testing Scope：
- Material density, hardness, elasticity, and dimensional stability inspections
- Tensile strength, tear resistance, compression rebound, and abrasion resistance tests
- Cell uniformity and surface flatness inspections
- Process stability verification (laser engraving, heat pressing, cutting response)
- Specialized tests for antibacterial, anti-slip, absorbency, and breathability performance (for designated products)
Environmental & Safety Compliance：
- Promoting foam material recycling and reuse, certified by RCS (Recycled Claim Standard), to realize the concept of a circular economy
- All materials compliant with international product testing and child safety standards：REACH | EN71 | CPSIA
- Ability to provide SGS or third-party test reports upon customer request
- Selected products also meet stringent factory audit requirements of major European and North American brands
